One of the first Art exhibitions I went to as a child was of David Hockney’s pool paintings and the colours have been ingrained in my imagination ever since. This Betsy colourway is a look back through a hazy lens to those imagined colours.

Alice reminisces on childhood in this Alice Caroline Liberty Exclusive ‘Halcyon Daze Collection’. Dreams of hazy summer sun; of parties playing pass-the-parcel and dancing around chairs. 1980s childhood dresses in gorgeous florals; Mum looking lovely in Laura Ashley. It is softly pastel coloured, like looking back through a rose-washed lens to English summers of old.

Betsy is a small stylised floral design, created in 1933 – it was designed by the mysterious ‘DS’, who also created many of our other favourite Tana prints. Betsy has been part of the classic Tana collection since 1982.

Beautiful, wipeable and water resistant, this high-quality tray from our Liberty collection comes as part of our new homeware range. Product is made in Sweden by a family run business with an interest in sustainability.

Composition: Made using Liberty Tana Lawn® Fabric, coated in veneer, the tray base is made from sustainable Birch wood. Made in a Swedish family run business.

Made without the use of solvents and water. Durable and water resistant.

This product has undergone food contact testing in line with the food contact regulation rules set in the EU. It is also manufactured with a focus on minimising the effect on the environment, use of energy and sustainable development. Any waste is recycled.
